These are the official Discord rules for the Snapcraft Network.
These rules apply to our entire Discord server. This includes voice chats, text chats, usernames, nicknames, statuses, bios, and profile pictures. Please help us maintain a friendly environment by respecting our rules.
- This is an English-speaking community.
Please refrain from using other languages so our staff can properly moderate the chat.
- No disrespect or harassment.
Our goal is to be an inclusive community. Hate speech and harassment are not allowed, and all conversations should remain civil.
- No inappropriate language.
We have a filter to block inappropriate language; you should not attempt to evade this filter.
- No inappropriate content.
All content posted should be appropriate for all ages. Illegal or adult content is not allowed.
- No controversial topics.
Any conversation regarding religion, politics, or personal views that others may disagree with is not appropriate for this community. We suggest you hold these conversations privately if you wish to have them.
- Do not be disruptive.
This includes using music bots when they aren’t welcome, moving in and out of channels to irritate other users, ghost-pinging, or using different methods of ‘trolling,’ which will fall under this rule and is not allowed.
- No advertising or self-promotion.
Do not advertise any other network, communities, or personal socials in our Discord channels or message members associated with our Discord with solicitation or advertising.
- Keep yourself and others safe.
Do not share any personal information online. Do not attempt to perform IRL deals with others.
- Use channels for their intended purpose.
